I have just added this pub to that list but your help is definitely needed regarding it's history. As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here. Thanks for your co-operation.
The pub changed name to the "Tudor Rose" I believe after 1950 according to the maps. Brian Birch says it was after 1972 and that before this it may have been known as the "Old Oak." So far I have managed to trace it back as far as 1847, but believe it's also older. Reference has been made to it being known as the "Old Oak" in 1850 but the "Royal Oak" in 1860.
