Evidentially there is a tunnel in the cellar that leads to the church opposite, and this was reputed to have been used by the smugglers when the customs came visiting.

I am informed that if you look up at the pub by the chimney, you will see a small triangular window. This used to be a smugglers lookout post ion the old days.

Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.
