There have been two different pubs here with this name, the latest being built in 1935.

This pub is very similar in design to the "Carpenter's Arms" at Hadlow, the "Black Boy" at Sidcup, the "World's Wonder" at Warehorne, the "Welcome Inn" in Eltham, the "Bell" at Coxheath, the "Redstart Inn" at Barming, and the "Papermaker's Arms" in Hawley.

The latest pub unfortunately closed about 2005 and was demolished in 2015 to be replaced by residential properties.
