Dolphin Street Herne Bay
Well established by 1727, the name changed to the "Dolphin" by 1785 Around about 1828, there was a proposal to develop the foreshore which meant the original "Dolphin Inn" would be demolished and by 1831 it had been substantially rebuilt just around the corner from the original. Closure came in 2000 and the pub / hotel has now been converted to residential use.
