I do know this pub was listed in the London Pubs Directory of 1944. That's about all at present. Local knowledge appreciated.

I am informed that the pub changed name to the "Saxon Tavern," date unknown, but after being closed for some time the original building was demolished and now (2017) is occupied by Aldi.
