This pub has been found by author and historian Michael David Mirams who says the pub was named after the owner Tresspole Hart. It was situated on the  junction with Boundary Road. The owner was often at loggerheads with the authorities and probably sold the house and this pub became the "White Swan."

ANNUAL LICENSING SESSIONS.

The brewster sessions commenced on Monday, which was set apart for renewing licenses already granted.

The renewal of the licence or the "Tresspole Arms" was adjourned for a fortnight, in order to enable the superintendent of police to make a special report.

ADJOURNED LICENSING SESSIONS.

The adjourned licensing session for the borough of Sandwich and its liberties was held at Sandwich, on Monday last, when there were present the Major (G. Coleman Esq.) and a full bench of Magistrates. Mr. Robinson applied for the renewal of the license for the "Tresspole Arms" beerhouse, Hardres-street, Ramsgate, and the application, which was opposed by Mr. Dorman, was granted.
