Pizen Well Wateringbury
The ancient building still stands on Pizien Well Road as a private house. Originally two cottages, it became a Beerhouse in the late 19th century. It was definitely still trading in 1911, and probably much longer, though it closed before 1914. It started of being known as the "Barley Mow" and had changed name by 1861. The building now known as "Good Intent Cottage" gained its Grade 2 listing on 19 April 1985.
