I believe this was first serving as early as 1707, but must have been rebuilt at some time as this section of the road doesn't seem to show buildings dated before 1858. It eventually closed in 1905 and was subsequently used as other retail shops and offices till just after 2009 when it eventually end up residential.

I also have reference to a "Daulphin."
