29 Beach Walk Whitstable
Built in the typical Art Deco style, probably in the late 1920s/early 30s, it was originally known as the "Continental Hotel." It stands more or less about 100 yards in front of Tower Parade overlooking the beach and sea. On a good day you can view both Sheppey and Essex. It changed name to the "Harbour Lights" circa 1985. It closed within a few years, was revamped and reverted to "The Continental."
