Reference has been found to a beer house with the name of the "Tichbourne Arms" from the census of 1881 when Henry King was licensee, but at present that's about all the information I have. However, 227 High Street has also been identified as the "Royal Music Hall" but only known in 1872. I am not sure yet if there is any connection as I believe the street has been renumbered.
