Four Elms

Lionel Cole, who has done research in the Hever parish, tell me that Four Elms used to have a pub with the name of the "White Hart" in the early 1700s. Although this is at present only a guess, the pub the "Four Elms" can be traced as the "White Hart" disappears, so it is possibly, and I am going to suggest that one changed into the other.
