Previously called the "Ramada Hotel, the hotel changed name to the "Leaf Hotel" on 3rd January 2019, however by November 2020 it had been taken over and changed name to the "Holiday Inn."

Holiday Inn at "Leaf Hotel."

The former "Leaf Hotel," Dover, in Whitfield has been rebranded the "Holiday Inn," Dover.

The last eight months have seen an extensive overhaul of the hotel by owner Mr. Rajamenon Kanagaratnam.

All guest rooms have been refurbished, the public areas totally reconfigured and facilities have been upgraded at the hotel in Singledge Lane.

Among these new facilities are a Bella Italia restaurant which opened on Monday, October 19, the Junction Bar and Lounge, serving meals, cocktails and Sunday lunches.

A new function room known as the Octagon Suite and the coffee lounge now serving Starbucks coffee.

"Holiday Inn" is responding to the challenges of the second lockdown and adhering to government guidelines.

Take-away services are available at the eateries.

Revamped Leaf becomes Holiday Inn.

THE former "Leaf Hotel" in Whitfield, near Dover, has been transformed into a "Holiday Inn."

Work to completely overhaul the hotel's facilities has taken around eight months to complete, with all of the quest rooms refurbished and all of the public areas reconfigured.

New facilities include a Bella Italia restaurant, the Junction Bar and Lounge, which serves food, cocktails and Sunday lunches; a new function room; and a coffee lounge which offers Starbucks coffee.

Kanagaratnam Rajamenon, managing director of the "Leaf Hotels" Group, said:- "I am extremely grateful to our staff and local building teams for their efforts in upgrading and revitalising the hotel to give the Dover district a first class hotel delivering a premium service to our guests."
