Opened as a restaurant in 1962 and closed for a few years before reopening again in 2016 by Mark Sargeant who also runs "Rocksalt" in Folkestone and the "Duke William" in Ickham. I believe the bar is open to anyone, so it's now operating as a public house with restaurant, and I don't think you need to order a meal to have a drink here. Unfortunately closed on 28 August 2022.
