Hotel Bijou

Above postcard, date unknown.

Not a lot known about this at present, but it appears to have been situated on the left hand side of what was once the "Fort Paragon Hotel," and being an hotel I am not certain whether it had a drinks license or if it did weather it was open to the public.

East Kent Times and Mail, Wednesday 4th March 1925.

An application for a licence for the consumption of alcohol, either on or off the premises, on behalf of the "Hotel Bijou," Nos. 10 and 11, "Fort Paragon," Margate. The application was opposed by Mr. Harries, on behalf of the Fort Paragon Hotel.
