Pub landlords plan ‘significant investment’ and relaunch.
A HISTORIC pub in Lewisham is looking for new operators as it
prepares for a “significant investment”.
The Honor Oak, in St German’s Road, is searching for a new manager
to run the pub ahead of “big plans” for the venue's future,
according to a listing on Find My Pub.
It comes as the landlords
prepare to relaunch the pub under the Fireside brand, including
carrying out a “significant investment”.
The Find My Pub listing said: “The landlords are seeking a driven
and entrepreneurial management partner to take the reins of a
fantastic hospitality venue in the heart of Honor Oak.
“This is your chance to take full
operational control of a well-positioned pub in a vibrant,
community-led area.
“The landlords have big plans for this pub, and you will be able to
demonstrate excitement and passion to deliver the project.
“This is a location where the right operator can truly embed
themselves in the community and build a standout reputation.”
The deposit is listed as £3,000, while the estimated earnings are
not yet confirmed.
The Honor Oak has been pulling pints for more than 150 years, since
it opened in 1865 as "St Germain’s Tavern."
