Wiltshire Arms

Hi I have been researching my family tree for about 12 years now and having downloaded a copy of my ancestors 1921 census I have found that lived in Ashburnham Place which is very near the "Ashburnham Arms" in Greenwich listed on your website.

I also have baptism records which place the family at the same address in 1915/6.

I have also inherited a family photo enclosed, that shows them outside a pub called the "Wiltshire Arms" taken, we believe around 1910.

Keeping it brief :) I have never found a London Pub called the "Wiltshire Arms" nor one that is listed on sites like yours as either closed, renamed, demolished or destroyed in WW2.

I was wondering if you have any evidence that they could in fact be the same pub or if you have ever heard of a pub called the "Wiltshire Arms" either in Greenwich or Poplar where other members of the family lived.

Unfortunately Poplar has never been part of Kent so is outside my research area, but I'm hoping someone will know the answer.
