White Horse Minster
I am informed by Rory Kehoe that this is or was a Cobb's house and they only had about 40 tied houses. Of these, about 20/25 can be discounted for one reason or another, which leaves one of about 15 Cobb's pubs (presumably a town house?) somewhere in Thanet. Cobb's only had about 5/6 pubs on the "mainland" and he doesn't think this is one of them. The picture looks to have been taken around the 1920s. Michael Mirams suggests this could be the "Crown and Sceptre" at Acol. Further thoughts he suggests the "White Horse" at Minster. I believe it is in fact one and the same, the "White Horse."
