The "Beercart Arms" was built upon the site of the Rigden's Brewery and says "it is a spacious, welcoming pub full of character and charm. Inside there is plenty of seating, a comfortable-sized stage area, a huge dance floor and 10 screens to watch live sports events."

Today the pub caters for live bands as well as Sky sports, and is run by Stoneset Inns Ltd.

Information from Michael Mirams tells me that the premises ceased trading in November 2014 and is now operating as the Ambrette Indian Restaurant.
