115 Beer Cart Lane Canterbury
Open after "Smartypants" closed, this was a pub with an Irish theme, however, it was owned by an English company, Bass. After Bass sold out to Stoneset Inns Ltd, the name was debranded, something that wasn't really happening in other similar pubs in the U.K. but opened again, this time as the "Beercart Arms" the name being from the Lane in which it is housed. I am informed that shortly after the pub changed name, the only noticeable difference was the colour on the outside changing from green to blue, and inside it appeared to continue with the mock Irish theme for some years.
