A NEW pub in Ramsgate is due to have its application for a licence heard today.

The owners of the Jekyll and Hyde pub, formerly the Emerald Bar in the High Street, have applied for a premises licence to reopen the bar. The application will be decided by Thanet council's Licensing Sub-Committee.

 

Michael Mirams informs me that the premises is now known as "Macies". He also says, again, which suggests that it was formerly that years ago, but as yet I only know it previously as the "Emerald Bar" and the "Freemason's Tavern."
