An independently owned hotel this closed in late 2000 or early 2001, the Hotel contained a bar they called the "Argot Bar."

After it closed the Laurel Pub Company took it over and opened it up as the "Ha! Ha! Bar and Canteen." Also known as the "Ha! Ha! Bar and Grill."
