I am informed that one of the licensees, probably around 1980, as yet name unknown, used to get his per tarantula or python out on the bar at last orders to hurry the customers along to leave.

Changed name to the "Final Whistle" around the 2000s but that wasn't the last of it as it changed its name back again shortly afterwards. However, the writing was on the cards for this one and in December 2018 planning permission was submitted to change its use into a house of multiply occupation, containing 2 single rooms and 7 double rooms.

Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.

All emails are answered.
