Map

Above map late 1800s.

Nothing known of this pub at present, and to date only found in the 1881 census.

There is another "Greyhound" listed in Sheerness.

Local resident Darren informs me that their is a lane close by called Greyhound Road, but it is unknown whether the pub was named after the road or road after the pub. The premises was enlarged between 1940 and 1960 and the name changed during this time to the "Elm Tree Inn" after the number of Elm Trees that used to line the road.
