PUB LIST PUBLIC HOUSES Paul Skelton

Earliest 1741-

Rising Sun

Latest 1741+

Westgate Street

St. Dunstan's

Canterbury

Reference has been found to this pub located somewhere in St. Dunstans. Jan Pedersen tells me that he has found reference to a grocer's shop in St. Dunstans that states it is on the site of the former "Rising Sun", and that from the local directories the grocer's shop was located in Westgate Street. Unfortunately no number given, but at least we now have a location.

It is not to be confused with the other "Rising Sun" at Sturry Road, as that wasn't built then.
