Police close Castle Street in Canterbury following alleged assault.
Police have cordoned off a city centre street after a man was assaulted.
Castle Street, in Canterbury, is shut at the junction with Beer Cart
Lane, outside The Three Tuns pub.
Ambulance crews are also at the scene and are assessing the man for
injuries.
Officers were called just after 2.30pm to reports of an assault.
No arrests have yet been made but inquiries are ongoing.

Teen from Basildon arrested after man injured in Canterbury city centre assault.
A 17-year-old has been arrested after a man was assaulted in Canterbury city centre.
Police cordoned off Castle Street on Thursday afternoon, after a man in
his 20s received a facial injury during the attack.
The road was shut at its junction with Watling Street, outside The Three
Tuns pub.
Ambulance crews rushed to the scene, and assessed the victim for
injuries.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called to The Three Tuns
in Watling Street, Canterbury, shortly after 2.30pm to reports of an
assault.
"A man with injuries including a facial injury was treated before being
taken to William Harvey Hospital."
A 17-year-old boy from Basildon, Essex, was arrested on Friday evening
on suspicion of assault.
He was later released on bail until November 22, pending further
enquiries.
