Closed, date of closure unknown, but turned into an Indian restaurant.

Quite a number of licensees of the old fashioned inns of the neighbourhood belonged to the Crops at the period. There was Stephen Marchant, of the "Sun Inn," Greenstreet. John Goldston, of the "Old Volunteers Inn," Rainham (now standing derelict on the north side of Rainham Railway Station,) Charles Clinch of the "Two Brewers," Bell road, Sittingbourne (now the "Rose and Crown"). Thomas Willmore, of the "Globe and Engine," George Wood, of the "King's Arms," High-street, Milton; Arthur Joyner, whose father was the first occupant of the "Golden Fleece," West street, and others more or less connected with the licensing trade.
