230 Bull Lane Eccles
The Walnut Tree was one of the first public houses in the immediate area outside of Maidstone to have gas lighting and heating. Address as in Eccles but the Whitbread card series of 1973 put it in Ditton. It's license was refused in 1861, but was certainly there by name. The pub was demolished during December in 2012.
