Wednesday June 3rd: - Before R.W. Boarer esq., Mayor,
and J. Kelcey, J. Tolputt, W. Bateman esqs., and Capt. Kennicott.
The following licences were transferred: from John Banks, "Marquis of
Granby Inn", to George Down; "Belle Vue Tavern", from Spencer Hayward to
William Hills; "Swan", licence granted to William Hall Robinson, in the
place of Mr. Franks, who is rendered by sickness incapable of keeping a
public house.

Wednesday September 30th:- Before the Mayor, and T. Golder, W. Major,
J. Tolputt, G. Kennicott, and J. Kelcey esqs.
This being the adjourned general annual licensing meeting, the
following licences were renewed, viz.:- George Ward, "Ship
Inn", Sandgate, Felix Denibas, "Paris
Hotel", Charles Doridant, "Pavilion
Hotel" and "Pavilion
Shades", Ann Dryden, "True
Briton Inn", Henry Parkes, for the house at the "Cherry
Garden", Michael Valyer, for a billiard room in Sandgate, and the
licence for the "Globe Tavern"
was transferred from Thomas Maycock to Susannah Clark.

Special Sessions for transferring licences.
The licence of the "Red Cow" was transferred from William Prebble,
deceased, to his widow, Charlotte Prebble.
The "Packet Boat", from Richard Boorn, to John Boorn.
The "Black Bull", from Charles Daniels to John Harrison.
